Ive recently been submitting all me new work and some of my old work to groups, since DA has made that so easy now .  I usually like to thank everyone for faving my stuff, but i find that im getting a lot more favs than im used to (even if the actual number is quite low).  

what im trying to say is, if i dont thank you for faving my work on your profile, consider yourself thanked.  I do appreciate the favs and comments

so yeah, even though nobody's going to read this, im going to rant about all the planet ring tutorials.  WHY DOES EVERYONE ADD NOISE TO THEIR RINGS TO MAKE THEM LOOK GRAINY? IT MAKES NO SENSE!!!

let me elaborate.  the only planet we know of with a large majestic ring system is Saturn (the other gas planets have ring systems, but they are thin and barely visible)Saturn's rings are made of particles ranging from tiny to small.  there are probably stuff in there the size of cars, but that's the minority.  Ohm and they're 1 km thick.  at any scale where graininess in the ring is visible, the thickness would be visible.   im just saying.
